In this picture, close to 1880, we see a lighthouse on the island Santa Maria , fully Arauco Gulf. Most likely is that this construction is well after the sinking of John Renwick (July 1848), where it almost certainly was traveling Alfrd ... Maybe if the lighthouse had been by then, the sailor had never come to shore as shipwreck ... and we, Waghorn from around here, we would never have existed.
