visit their gardens.

a sad abandonment and complete neglect;
fragments of statues strewn walks, and trees leafless
, desenramados ...
When you have seen the young (even the educated)
break lights and the wiring and hardware
a typical balcony over the river,
and girls (even the distinguished)
enter the fields to plunder ...
When you have seen all this,
can well exclaim with a heavy heart:
this town has no feeling, no art or love,
no culture!
